Staff Opportunities

This year you could be a part of one of the most rewarding of Ministries.

Many youth will make their first commitment to God at camp, others will be called to ministry, and many will have life impacting experiences. At this camp every staff person will have ample opportunity to connect with and be an example to the campers.

Staff positions: Counselors

                           Snack Stand

                           Office

                           Camp directors

                           Activity directors

                           Night watchman

                           Life guard

                           Camp nurse

                           Cooks*

                           Kitchen Helpers

                           Maintenance*

As you see, it takes a lot of staff to make a camp a safe and successful camp.

All of the positions require a background check and a pastor's referance and many of the positions require certification. High quality staff make a high quality camp! We have been blessed to have had excellent staff here at Assembly Park, but as the ministry grows and schedules change we will always be looking for staff.

Most staff position are considered ministries. They are not paid positions but may be eligible for an honorarium. Cooks and some maintenance positions are on  payroll. 

Training:  When you minister at camp you will be a part of a team! You will have plenty of help and instruction.

 we will have a "counselor training manual" for you to down load soon.

 

Special Opportunities: In an effort to make this camp ministry as effective as it could possibly be, I am looking for some people to help in some specific areas. If you are talented in these areas and are interested in sharing some expertise with the camp please contact us.
